What’s spring break without visiting a beach?? For the second part of the school’s spring break, we took an hour long bus ride along the curvy roads of the Amalfi Coast (thank you Dramamine!)! We arrived in Vico Equense, which is a small town in Naples.  Here we stayed in the Hotel Aquea. It was a beautiful little hotel that overlooked the Sorrento peninsula with just a short walk to the beach. Since it was later in the afternoon when we arrived, it was a bit chilly.

The next morning we took ANOTHER curvy road trip to Positano! It’s a cute little touristy, beach town with many, many hills and stairs! They have multiple shops and a small little black beach made up of volcanic rocks! After a few hours, everyone in my program boarded a boat and took a tour of the Amalfi Coast, where we ended in the town of Amalfi. If you get the chance to go to the Amalfi Coast, check out there lemons! They are HUGE! As in the size of softballs! Lemon’s used to be the main crop of the Amalfi coast, but today there are less than 100 lemon farmers left here, and they are all over the age of 60 years old!

*All my lemon pictures turned out blurry!! 🙁
